SCROTAL- TESTICULAR Ultrasounds are very useful detecting a multitude of different conditions.  Varicocoeles, hydrocoeles and spermatocoeles (cysts) are the most common findings. 

Torsion of the testis is a severe and urgent diagnosis, as blood supply becomes strangulated. Be sure to include: TESTICULAR ARTERY DOPPLER request.

Epididymitis , orchitis and other conditions involve inflammatory processes and/or infection. This may involve the pampiiniform plexus and spermatic cord/ vas deferans.
