For most Ultrasounds- select (All Other); for VASCULAR DOPPLER (venous, arterial, carotid), BREAST, Pregnancy over 18weeks, select these separately. (But Pregnancy under 16wks use Ultrasound (All Other).

We Bulk Bill on valid Medicare card, for all Ultrasounds.
However, for Morphology Pregnancy (17 weeks or more), Growth Scan, Baby Hips & Baby Head, there is a small Gap Fee of $100, as there is a lot of work in these tests taking a long time, with extra post-processing work, which is not reflected in the Medicare rebate.
If you do not have Medicare, the PRIVATE fee for all ultrasounds are $130, Morphology 18wks+/Growth scan $180, and all Dopplers $180/ per limb or item (If multiple sites/ limbs, a discounted amount can be given ). You are given the receipt so you can claim back on your private health fund.
