For most Ultrasounds- select (All Other); for VASCULAR DOPPLER (venous, arterial, carotid), BREAST, Pregnancy over 18weeks, or INJECTION/FNA, select these separately. (But Pregnancy under 16wks use Ultrasound (All Other)).

We Bulk Bill on valid Medicare card, for all Ultrasounds.
However, for Morphology Pregnancy (17 weeks or more) &/or Growth Scan, there is a small Gap Fee of $100, for Baby Hips $80, as there is a lot of work in these tests taking a long time, with extra post-processing work, which is not reflected in the Medicare rebate.
If you do not have Medicare, the PRIVATE fee for all ultrasounds are $130, Morphology 18wks+/Growth scan $180, and all Dopplers $180/ per limb or item (If multiple sites/ limbs, a discounted amount can be given ). You are given the receipt so you can claim back on your private health fund.
