ULTRASOUND is one of the most useful examinations for the knee.

Collateral ligament tears, inflammatory conditions, fluid in the knee, joint effusions , meniscal protrusions, cysts, ruptured cysts, distended joint fascia, narrowing of the joint, osteoarthritis, bursitis and many other features are diagnosable.

Post- reconstruction of tears can also result in patellar tendinitis.

Epicondylar spurs and exostoses can be readily examined.
