PORT ANALYSIS:

If you have had surgery, such as gastric banding, tubes inserts, or similar surgical procedures, this ultrasound will analyze the abdominal insert port or other prosthetic part.  Frequently pain is brought  about due to oedema, seroma following surgery, and occasionally muscle tears or defects surrounding  the surgical port insert.

Sometimes this is caused by lifting, straining, or divarication (spreading of the abdominal muscles, or due to fluid accumulation after surgery.

PROSTHESIS ANALYSIS:

If you have had surgery, such as pin and plate, fracture stabilization,  surgical mesh (inserted in the abdominal wall) or similar prosthetic device/ procedures, this ultrasound will analyze for soft tissue, calcification/ fibrosis, and other conditions, which can build around prosthetic plates, screws, or similar devices .  Frequently pain is brought  about due to oedema, seroma following surgery, and occasionally muscle tears or defects surrounding  the prosthesis.

Heavy lifting, straining, or the simple healing process can cause complications to arise.
